Learning + Development Advisor

We are looking for an experienced and confident Learning and Development Specialist to design, develop and implement all learning strategies and programs across all Central Pharma sites.

Summary of Role Responsibilities:

  • To carry out capability assessments across the organisation in order to evaluate individual and organisational development needs
  • Carry out Training Needs Analysis, identifying skills gaps and proactively build a training program to find and close gaps
  • Create and execute learning strategies and programs
  • Implement various learning methods (e.g., coaching, job-shadowing and online training)
  • Design and deliver e-learning courses, workshops and other training
  • Designing a range of learning interventions, including technical, behavioural and leadership programmes
  • Work closely with managers to support the development of their teams
  • Assess the success of development plans and help employees make the most of learning opportunities
  • Driving a culture of continuous professional development (CPD)
  • Develop a company-wide induction program, that could be carried out remotely

Skills & Competencies:

  • Proven experience as an L&D Specialist
  • Up to date knowledge of effective learning and development methods
  • Familiarity with e-learning platforms and practices
  • Exceptional MS Office skills
  • Confident, articulate and clear communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Ability to influence and persuade at all levels in the organisation
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across the business
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to manage workload demands and prioritise tasks effectively
  • Previous experience working within the manufacturing industry, Pharma would be desirable
  • Certificate in Learning and Development Practice or equivalent
  • Experience of skills audits and training needs analysis
  • Full, clean driving licence preferable as travel to other sites will be required
