Project Manager

Primary Objective

To plan to oversee and facilitate all aspects of a project, meeting goals on time and within tight budget constraints.

Reporting to: Technical Director

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and implementation of projects
  • Assist in the definition of the project scope, involving all relevant stakeholders for project sign off
  • Set goals with achievable target deadlines to progress each project through to completion
  • Liaise with key stakeholders to organise people, tasks, and resources
  • Oversee all construction, ensuring artwork and plans are adhered to
  • Oversee all accounting, costing, and billing to ensure each project is kept to the agreed budget
  • Project manage the installation of pharma cleanrooms
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Manage quality and regulatory aspects of technical and engineering projects impacting on licensed pharmaceutical activities
  • Ensure GxP quality and regulatory standards are maintained throughout project phases providing required evidence
  • Progress chase collaborators and service providers to complete tasks within budget and on time
  • Liaise with operations, engineering, QA and QPs to generate validation protocols, perform qualification tasks and complete validation reports
  • Prepare necessary reports and risk assessments to support licence requirements
  • Ensure workflows, processes, and products comply with safety regulations
  • Investigate equipment, product or process deviations
  • Develop corrective actions, solutions, and improvements
  • To assist with training and the preparation of training programmes when required
  • Other technical duties in support of GxP

  • Educated to a graduate level
  • Extensive pharmaceutical and construction experience
  • Completer / Finisher
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Competent IT skills
  • Professional handling of multi-disciplines
  • Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
  • Practical ‘can do’ approach
  • Flexible in supporting business needs

Relationships

The position reports directly into the Technical Director. The Project Manager has a direct working relationship with the management of Operations, QA, Supply Chain both in-house and customer’s own representatives. These relationships are critical to the success of the business.

Success will be overall delivery of project requirements on time and within budget, attaining high levels of regulator and client satisfaction.
