Technical Business Development Manager

Primary Objectives

The Technical Business Development Manager will be the first point of contact for all biostimulant product sales, customer relations and technical support.

Reporting to:  Technical Director

Role responsibilities:

  • Ensure the site achieves the organisational goals by providing a positive customer experience in order to drive repeat business, enhance customer loyalty and improve business growth.
  • Drive sales and growth through developing effective strategies and identifying business opportunities with risk analysis.
  • Generate growth by proactively sourcing new clientele and generating new revenue streams.
  • Drive existing and future sales activities by maintaining and retaining existing client relationships.
  • Provide effective sales management including the disciplined use of sales processes and tools
  • Develop growth strategies and plans.
  • Sets sales goals and accurately forecasts annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams that are consistent with the company’s long-range strategic objectives.
  • Keep up to date with changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors in order to service Biotechnica customers.
  • Represent Central Pharma at technical events in the UK and globally, promoting the brand and the product.
  • Keep up to date with technical developments in the biostimulants industry.
  • Be the first point of contact in all audits and customer meetings, for technical information about biostimulant seaweed products.

Skills & Competencies:

  • A post graduate degree or equivalent in biological science or a related subject
  • Proven experience within a Business Development role
  • Exceptional customer service

Establish strong and appropriate relationships with the Central Pharma Biotechnica Board, staff and clients. Develop smooth and constructive relationships with executive colleagues and outside agencies.   Convey a professional and positive image and attitude regarding Central Pharma Biotechnica to new and existing customers to drive growth.

Success Criteria:

The Technical Business Development Managers success will be measured on the retention of existing customers and the increase in new clients and additional sales, by providing a customer centric experience.
